Tutoring you through wedding, prom and other special occasions
When choosing a bold and bright color for prom season, there are many girls that are looking towards orange as the color of choice. In fact, orange and teal are two of the most popular colors this season for formal dresses, including prom dresses. When it comes to bright colors through, especially a bright formal dress, it can be difficult to choose accessories.
First, although we realize that orange is a great color for the prom season, there are certain people that may not be able to pull off the orange prom dress look as good as others and therefore other colors may be more flattering. Those with pale skin and red hair may not look as good as they would like in orange, as the complexion is less than forgiving with these types of bright colors. As an alternative to bright orange, consider wearing a burnt orange or dark orange color dress to compliment the skin tone.
When wearing the orange dress, it is important to have a little bit of color on the skin, but too much color can make the dress look all wrong. Avoiding getting too much sun before the prom and choosing to have a soft glow of color is a better way to look in an orange prom dress while getting ready for prom. Avoid the tanning salons if you have a tendency to overdo it, especially for a special event like prom. You don’t want to be the same color as the dress that you are wearing.
When it comes to certain colors, there are just certain skin tones which are unforgiving. When it comes to your skin tone, tanning may help, but you will still have the same undertones – therefore, paying attention to advice can help you to look at your best.
