Tutoring you through wedding, prom and other special occasions
Did you know that after you have used the ball gown for your special event there are still ways that you can make money from the gown?
For most women, once the special occasion gown has been worn, there are often times when the ball gown will sit inside of the closet literally collecting dust and therefore many women choose to sell the dress through the use of consignment stores to fund the purchase of a ball gown for the next special occasion or simply to earn extra money from the money that had been spent on the dress in the first place.
How does the consignment store work? Consignment stores work to allow customers to drop off their items of clothing. Although no money is given to the customer at the time they drop off their items, they are given the money at the time when the dress is sold. At the time that the dress is sold, the selling price is given to the customer, minus a percentage which is kept by the store. This percentage is used to cover the expenses within the store and can create the profit for the store in the case that many items are sold.
Most often, a maximum of ten percent from the sale of the piece of clothing is kept by the consignment store. Using a consignment store comes with the benefit of reducing the fees which must be paid up front to sell the clothing. This way, you can earn the profit and the fee is deducted from the profit.
